About Me

Salutations! Welcome to jackkistler.com! My name is Jackson Gary Kistler and I am a Web Programming student at Western Technical College in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Although I have lived in Wisconsin for the past decade, I still consider Minnesota to be my home. I currently live on the south side of La Crosse with my wife, Hannah. We have a cat named Oliver who is the smartest and most sinister thing alive. We also have a Cardigan Corgi named Arthur who is very sweet.

I have a lot of hobbies and interests, but I spend most of my free time watching movies, watching sports, hiking, and playing board games. I am incredibly passionate about music and consider myself a self-taught multi-instrumentalist (guitar being most prominent). I enjoy reading about the history of music and the different journeys that my favorite artists have taken to be where there are now (usually dead). I have filled varying roles in local bands and enjoyed a modest degree of success. Nonetheless, I aspire to continually improve and become self-sufficient through my music.
